The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the SSC results today at 1 pm ending the anxious wait of over 14 lakh students who appeared for the examinations earlier this year.
The overall pass percentage across the state remained 81.32 with Konkan region topping the state with 93.94 per cent. The passed percentage of Pune stood as 90.71 followed by Kolhapur with 89.17%.
The girls continued to outshine their male counterparts with the overall pass percentage of girls being 82.96 against 79.90 per cent of boys across state.
As many as 14,857,00 students appeared against 14,911,65 across the state in the SSC examination in March.
The students can check their class 10 results online onhttp://mahresult.nic.in and http://www.msbshse.ac.in.
The other websites offering online results are www.mh-ssc.ac.in, www.sscresult.mkcl.org, www.exametc.com,www.results.bharatstudent.com, sscresults2012.in and results.maharashtraeducation.net.
In wake of heavy traffic on these sites, students can also go through www.rediff.com/exams, www.ednexa.com,www.studyssconline.com and www.myssc.in, which are offering the results online.
The students can also get their Class 10 results 2012 (SSC Results) via SMS. They just need to type “MSSC followed by “Seat number” and send it to the desired number (As per your mobile network). For instance, for BSNL, students need to send SMS to 57766 | Airtel: send SMS to 55077 | Innova: send SMS to 8800654242.
Alike last year, the results will be based on the Best-Five subject marks. Students can seek admissions in the junior colleges on the basis of their best-five grades. Also, the students will not have to wait for 10 days before applying for online admissions this year. They have been allowed to submit their option forms on the basis of their marks declared online. The students can start filling their forms online till June 21.
Once the SSC results are declared, Board would declare the admission schedule to junior colleges with the fees and merit list details. Students who wish to go for the revaluation of their results shall work backwards as per the admission schedule of Junior colleges.
